Use this option to delete empty bins from your Micronet system.

Technical Tip You can also use the Change Bin Locations option to delete empty bins (refer to "Bin Location Maintenance - Change Bin Locations"). While the option described below deletes all empty bins in a selected warehouse according to picking slip or goods receipt priority, the Change Bin Locations option gives you more filtering options so you can be more selective about which empty bins to delete. |
Micronet displays the Delete Empty Multi Bins screen.

Enter the warehouse ID for which you want to delete empty bins. You can also press Tab or Enter to select a warehouse. |

Select priority range type |
Select whether you want to delete empty bins according to picking slip priorities or goods receipt priorities. For more information about priorities, refer to "Setting the Initial Priority of Picking Slips" or to "Changing the Priority of a Goods Receipt". |

Starting / Ending Priority |
To delete empty bins for specific priorities, enter the starting and ending picking slip or goods receipt priorities, according to your selection in the previous field. You must enter priorities or the deletion of empty bins will fail. |
Micronet displays a message asking you to confirm that you want to delete bins for the selected warehouse.
Micronet scans all bin locations in the selected warehouse and deletes any empty bins matching your criteria. When it has finished, Micronet displays the following message.
Micronet redisplays the Delete Empty Bins screen.
